With The Butler Chauffeurs you do not go alone. Your Butler collects you, walks with you to the desk if that helps, waits for as long as the appointment lasts and brings you home again, also when you book for your father or mother. That waiting is included in the hours you book.
How it works.
Book the ride, also for someone else
Pick-up address, the hospital, the time you want to be collected and how many hours you expect to be away, at least one. If you book for your mother, she receives the messages and you can follow along.
Picked up and walked along
Your Butler rings the bell, helps with the coat and the walker and walks inside with you as far as you want.
Waited and brought home
Your Butler waits during the appointment, and that is included in your hours. Then back home, and the family gets a message that you have arrived.
What it costs.
€ 50 per hour, from the 5th hour € 45. Minimum 1 hour.
After the booked hours € 49,50 per hour, charged per minute.
You do not book a ride but time: the hours your Butler is there for you. The smallest booking is one hour, and that is € 50,00. Everything is included in those hours: the driving, walking inside with you, the waiting during the appointment, a stop at the pharmacy and the ride home. We do not charge kilometres separately.
If the hospital is outside Amsterdam, it works the same way: the ride there, the waiting and the ride back are all included in your hours. Just choose enough of them, and nothing needs to be added afterwards.
To the OLVG, and past the pharmacy
Twenty minutes there, three quarters of an hour with the specialist, a quarter of an hour at the pharmacy on the way back and twenty minutes home. Together not even two hours: you book two, and all the waiting is included.

A morning at the hospital
An examination and then a talk with the doctor, from eight to twelve. Your Butler stays the whole morning, and that waiting is included in the four hours.

A five-hour treatment, with the rides before and after: six hours. The first four hours cost € 50,00 per hour, the fifth and sixth hour € 45,00: 4 hours × € 50,00 + 2 hours × € 45,00.

Questions from patients and family.
Does the chauffeur walk inside with me?
Yes, if you want. To the desk, to the waiting room, or just to the door. You say so when booking or on the way, and your Butler does what you are comfortable with.
What if the appointment runs late?
Within the hours you book, your Butler waits for as long as it takes, and that costs nothing extra. If you think it may take longer, choose one more hour when booking. If it still runs over after that, your Butler stays with you. After the booked hours € 49,50 per hour, charged per minute.
Can I book for my mother?
Yes. When booking choose For someone else and enter her name and phone number. She gets the messages, you can follow the ride, and the bill can go to you.
Is this covered by my health insurance?
No. This is private transport: you book it yourself and you pay for it yourself. Reimbursed medical transport runs through your health insurer, needs approval in advance and applies only with a medical indication such as dialysis, oncological treatment or being wheelchair-bound. It also carries a personal contribution, and your own risk counts towards it.
What you get here is something else: no application, no medical indication, no waiting list. You choose the time, you know the amount in advance, and the same Butler walks in with you and waits until you are done.
Can a walker or wheelchair come along?
A walker always comes along. For a wheelchair, call or message us beforehand and we look together at what is possible and what is needed.
