CARE+ is transport with care. Your Butler picks you up, walks with you to the desk if that helps, waits for as long as the appointment takes and brings you home again. Also when you book for your father or mother.
How it works.
Book the ride, also for someone else
Pick-up address, the hospital or the destination, and how long you expect to be away. If you book for your mother, she gets the messages and you can follow along.
Picked up and walked along
Your Butler rings the bell, helps with the coat and the walker and walks inside with you as far as you want.
Waited and brought home
If the appointment runs late, the chauffeur stays. Then home again, and the family gets a message that you have arrived.
What CARE+ costs.
Within Amsterdam you pay a fixed amount for the first half hour. After that the hourly rate counts per minute you actually drive, so you never have to round up to a half hour. Want to be collected later? You choose the time and we charge the return trip at a discount. Waiting at a stop is charged per started half hour. Outside Amsterdam one rate per minute applies, everything included.

Questions about CARE+.
Does the chauffeur walk inside with me?
Yes, if you want. To the desk, to the waiting room, or just to the door. You say so when booking or on the way, and your Butler does what you are comfortable with.
What if the appointment runs late?
Then the return trip simply moves. When booking you choose the time you want to be collected; if it runs late, let us know and your Butler comes later. We only charge waiting at a stop, per started half hour, and you see that up front when booking.
Can I book for my mother?
Yes. When booking choose For someone else and enter her name and phone number. She gets the messages, you can follow the ride, and the bill can go to you.
Is this covered by my health insurance?
No. CARE+ is private transport: you book it yourself and you pay for it yourself. Reimbursed medical transport runs through your health insurer, needs approval in advance and applies only with a medical indication such as dialysis, oncological treatment or being wheelchair-bound. It also carries a personal contribution, and your own risk counts towards it.
What you get here is something else: no application, no medical indication, no waiting list. You choose the time, you know the amount in advance, and the same Butler walks in with you and is back at the time you choose.
Can a walker or wheelchair come along?
A walker always comes along. For a wheelchair, call or message us beforehand and we look together at what is possible and what is needed.
